The movie adaptation of "My Darling is a Foreigner" is the tale of how a chance encounter between a Japanese woman, Saori (Mao Inoue) and an American man, Tony (Jonathan Sherr) leads to a probe into whether this couple, with conflicts and disagreements along the way, can make the happy ending of an international marriage. Kazuaki Ue, who has been involved in a number of popular commercials, makes his feature movie directorial debut and has completed a heart-warming love story.
