  • Respected Works Feature on Tetsuo Kinjou Tetsuo Kinjou was born in Haebaru-cho, Shimajiri County of Okinawa Prefecture. He graduated from the Department of Literature at Tamagawa University, then apprenticed for Eiji Tsuburaya as a screenwriter. In 1962, he made his debut with the TBS drama series "Kizuna". He joined the earliest days of Tsuburaya Productions in 1963 and worked as the head of Planning and Creative Writing. He was the main creator of "Ultra Q""Ultraman" and "Ultraseven" all of which excited and inspired the children in Japan.

  • Respected Works Feature on Mitsuteru Yokoyama Mitsuteru Yokoyama was born in Kobe city of the Hyogo Prefecture, Yokoyama began drawing manga during junior high school and started sending his works to magazines such as "Manga Shonen" and "Tanken Oh" in high school. After graduating, he first became an office worker but also continued his creative work and in 1955, he professionally debuted with "Otonashi no Ken (The Silent Sword)". Along with his popular works, "Tetsujin 28-go (Iron Man #28)", "Maho-tsukai Sally (Sally, the witch)", "Kamen no Ninja Akakage (The Masked Ninja, Akakage)", Yokoyama also concentrated his creative talent on definite historical sagas such as "Suikoden (Water Margin)" and "Sangokushi (Three Kingdoms)".

He explored and developed the possibilities of manga without being confined to conventional manga, producing works such as "Hotel" and "Manga History of Japan", "The Completed Manga of Shotaro Ishinomori" published in 2008 received the Guinness World Recordʼs for the "most comics published by one author".

  • Respected Works Feature on Go Nagai Go Nagai was born in Ishikawa Prefecture. Having worked as an assistant for Shotaro Ishinomori, he debuted with "Meakashi Polikichi" (1967). The "Harenchi Gakuen (Shameless School)" (1968) became a big hit and Nagai has continued to publish works in a wide variety of genres. His major works include, "Debiruman (Devilman)" "Mazinger Z" "Violence Jack" "Cutie Honey" and many others.
