It's 1998 and Star Wars fans around the world are eagerly awaiting the release of “Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace”. Linus (Christopher Marquette), with terminal cancer, makes a dying wish to see Episode 1, so geek Eric (Sam Huntington) and his buddies head off in a drive across the United States to sneak into George Lucas's Skywalker Ranch and steal a copy of the movie, leaving their names down in history as the first people in the world to see it.
However, all sorts of troubles are waiting for them on their way, including Trekkies and William Shatner, their trials and tribulations, do they get to see “Episode1”? From the gorgeous cast making cameo appearances in the movie through to the Star Wars gags scattered throughout the film, this is a movie for Star Wars fans made by Star Wars fans.
