Compelling true story of a couple who chased after their dream of a miracle ― to revive coral reefs for the fi rst time in the world. Titled in Okinawa dialect, "Tida" (the sun) "Kankan" (is radiant), meaning a symbol of happiness, this movie is based on a true story about "Koji Kinjo", a hero of the sea, who became the fi rst person in the world to successfully transplant and spawn coral reefs, and the people who loved and supported his dream.
His attempt was triggered by his sole wish to show the previously beautiful sea of Okinawa to his beloved wife and children. His achievement was recognized with double awards of Environment Minister’s Prize and Prime Minister’s Award in 2007. The 10 years to realize this miracle have been meticulously covered for this moving story.
