Let the Okinawa International Movie Festival enchant and inspire you with a good number of comedies and fabulous movies around the world. The 1st Okinawa International Movie Festival concluded successfully in 2009 and is a valuable addition to the film festival circuit in Asia.

Although there are challenges ahead, I sincerely trust that the dedication and enthusiasm of the Okinawa International Movie Festival to make significant contributions to the Asian film industry will echo throughout the world. I hope that in the foreseeable future, the Okinawa International Movie Festival will develop itself as one of the popular platforms for renowned filmmakers to launch new works and a discovery ground for emerging movie talents from and around Asia.
